Packed with potential energy

Stonestown Solar Farm is a proposed solar project in the townlands of Stonestown, Kilcamin, Crancreagh, and Derrinlough

Solar energy helps us to reduce emissions, displace harmful fossil fuels, and bring Ireland closer to our carbon neutral goals by generating clean, green, renewable energy. Projects such as the Stonestown solar farm will help Ireland reach it’s 80% renewable energy electricity target by 2030 reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and increasing the security of energy supply.

Our team has undertaken a wide range of environmental surveys, including archaeological, noise, visual, ecological, and hydrological assessments. This has informed a project design that is aimed to provide a net-positive effect on the surrounding environment.

The proposed Solar Farm in County Offaly would highly benefit the local wildlife, providing significant biodiversity enhancement opportunities.

Stonestown is packed
with potential

We want people to experience the benefits of renewable energy! A designated community benefit fund for the proposed Stonestown Solar Farm will support environmental projects, voluntary organisations, community groups, and schools situated near the solar farm project.
